It had a treat of limericks. cinquains and haiku dispersed with other poetry that was both symbolic and evocative. “At the poetry workshop” brought a smile to my face. I too joined one such group and at the end of it all, I could not recognise my own poetry! There were so many poems that stood out for me like “The parody of daffodils”, “Life’s crossroads”, “Poetry”, “India my motherland” and “Moth-eaten moments.” Nandita Das writes from the heart, her poetry has both depth and character in it. I found “Colours of delight” thoroughly enjoyable. I have one complaint, though; it could have been much longer!

Really enjoyed reading the poems , I'm not really a poem person but this book changed it.Some of my favourites are "Life's crossroads" , "Fading love" , "Let go" and many more. I read them and felt every line in these poems. So beautifully written , so real. I would definitely recommend anyone to read it. I look forward to many more.

She has chosen to write about everyday life which most of us are familiar with. The good thing about the collection is you can pick and choose to read at random whatever you like.V. Phelps
