1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Afforded Pernanence By CP D Ayotte I met Liam I think on my first day, in my first class, in college. An expository writing class, in fact. He was witty, funny, down to Earth, the opposite of pretentious, but always eloquent in his writing, and clever in his observations. We have not seen each other since graduation, but I see that he, his writing in any case, has remained that funny and clever person I knew. Afforded Permanence is an interesting read. There is depth in his observations. Maybe more as we sit and think than might first be obvious. He is more than an observer. It is an interesting ride through Boston. I highly recommend!
