This is an amazing account of the personal travel experience of 3 seasoned travellers who decide to travel through South East Asia....Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam. The book is fast paced, highly entertaining and full of valuable tips on places to see and what to expect. It also has great tips on how to choose your travel and places to stay in. Overall it has tips and pointers that can enhance the travel experience especially for those who have never travelled through ASIA. A delightful book full of anecdotal information that the reader will find irresistible!A great guide to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam!

That does not mean you are going into history; No, you are entering into that part of history hither to unknown to many and concealed by some, with pure impishness.The objective: To push back one section of the society in order to put the other one on the podium whether they deserved or not. Read through, you will not regret it!In spite of such serious contemplations on record, you have ample time to enjoy the wit and humor, the laughter and merriment of the three friends - Terrence, Ashok and Gerald - as they journeyed through the South East Asian Countries.If you even browse through the book it would make such an impact on your senses that you might decide to launch a journey of your own. Why? Because each place about which the author is talking about, has some wonderful features - be it Angkor ruins with its vanished civilization ( Author to check) in Cambodian jungles, Thailand with its beauties and beaches, the cock fights at Saigon’s hinterland or President Ho Chi Minh and his victory over the French at Diem Bier Phu with his trained Viet Minh guerillas - the author has dug into the resources to put forth the facts ; this makes the book a real treasure. By Aj This book records the wonders of human endeavor, historical mysteries, cultural background of the places and people visited as well as the palaces, museums, places of art which once lighted the lives of the people. It is an enthralling journey to the South East Asian countries, specifically Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Sri Lanka. The three men Ashok, Gerald and Terry - from diverse backgrounds get to meet the locals as well as fellow travelers in these exotic places. The author looks beyond the physical as he relates his experiences in a trip that takes him and his two friends back to mystifying kingdoms and brutal wars of days long gone in Cambodia. Quite humorous and lively throughout, Ashok helps you to experience and find out what makes their people in SeA spiritual, proud, resilient, independent, dignified, brave and graceful.I completely agree with Ashok Jesuran when he says while concluding: I must confess that it is nothing like being in a particular place. In person, discover for oneself, wowed and joyous with the unknown, and develop a hunger to know and learn more about other cultures and share with the people and learn to live in oneness with them. This enchants you and invites you to a new life, helping you to understand and rouse yourself for the improvement of your own self-esteem, and encourages you to deal with others positively.The latter part of the book where Ashok has put forth , rather brought out, the truths after much research of the real past history wonderful South India and its people who once occupied a vast land as Dravidians which was taken over slimy by other races. This is a very informative and enchanting coffee table book to possess.
