From the Author Writing "My Holy Friend" was an expression of my growth in understanding who God is. There was a time when I thought He was a Spiritual Force "out there". I felt no personal connection to Him. All I knew about was what went on in my daily life. I believed, and hoped fervently, that someday I would miraculously evolve to a point where life was impacted by this great divine Being. But, though I knew and believed in the story of Jesus, I hadn't a clue of how to make the connection.Then, as a result of attending a wonderful weekend retreat called The Walk to Emmaus, all the pieces to the puzzle slowly began to fit into the glorious picture which our precious Lord has painted for us. The first realization was that Jesus Christ is alive today.
About the Author JOY RASH has devoted a major portion of her life to writing and presenting Christian programs and Bible studies. Her ministry has included the publication of stories and Sunday School lessons for children. As a current resident of Arizona with her husband, Joy continues her efforts to respond to Christ's Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) by providing weekly Bible studies on her website, JoyInChrist.weebly.com. The writing, publication, and distribution of "My Holy Friend" has consumed so much of her time that she has been forced to temporarily suspend the weekly study. However, it is her fervent prayer that the Lord will provide the time to re-commence this beautiful ministry in early 2016. Joy considers one of God's greatest blessings the gift of her three sons, three daughters-in-law, thirteen grandchildren, and three great-granddaughters.

It illustrates so many different prayers to God. In her book, My Holy Friend, Joy Rash has written her own modern day Psalms expressing happiness, sorrow, weariness, and anger. Her Psalms remind us that no topic is off limits to the Lord. It was refreshing to read her Psalms and realize that I share a lot of the same feelings. This book will surely be a blessing to you.
